How to enrich CSV data with another App or API using Zapier

Enrich each record in a CSV with extra data from another App or API

Using a Google Sheet to keep the import data in a safe place:

  1. Create your CSV/spreadsheet import page.
  2. Choose to send spreadsheet import data to a Google Sheet.
  3. Create a Zapier Zap to trigger whenever a new row is added to the Google Sheet.
  4. Use the Zap to use the new row in the Google Sheet to query for data in another App or API.
  5. Update the row in the Google Sheet with the new data.
  6. It's that easy!

If you do not want to use a Google Sheet you could also set up a Zap to have the trigger be each row from an EasyCSV import:

  1. Create your CSV/spreadsheet import page.
  2. Choose to send spreadsheet import data to Zapier.
  3. Create a Zapier Zap to trigger whenever a new row is posted from EasyCSV.
  4. Use the Zap to use the new row from EasyCSV to query for data in another App or API.
  5. Send the row data from EasyCSV with the extra info from the other App/API to the final destination
  6. It's that easy!
